I've had a love affair with books and magazines since I was a child. I could lose myself in them for hours. Writing. Storytelling. Marketing. Learning new information to feed my curiosity. These are things that I've always enjoyed and has prompted me to provide authoring support services. 

Hi, I'm Melody and as my tagline reads, my mission is to foster the art of storytelling one book at a time.

• Master's degree student studying communications with a concentration in New Media & Marketing at SNHU
• B.A., English Language and Literature from SNHU
• Attended NCCU and completed a concentration in Journalism 

• The roles that I've held during my 17+ year communications career has been as a UX/UI Writer, technical writer, copywriter, and marketing communications manager.
• I've written promotional, technical, instructional, marketing, and UI copy primarily in the B2B software and B2C electronics sectors of the technology industry. 

• One of my favorite books in the memoir genre: Laughing in the Dark: From Colored Girl to Woman of Color - A Journey from Prison to Power by Patrice Gaines, an award-winning Washington Post reporter
• My 'happy place' (outside of home):  Any warm and sunny beach where I can relax and enjoy a good read  
• My guilty pleasure purchases: Coffee table books, magazines, indoor house plants, and coffee mugs with witty one-liners
