Your completely finished manuscript is checked for the following:

This is a DETAILED review where your completed manuscript (which has been organized and structured already) will be reviewed line-by-line to check for:

• Mechanical errors (for ex., unnecessary spaces, words that should be hyphenated, etc.,)

Your Proof (i.e., one printed copy of your book that's already been designed and formatted), will be checked one LAST time for defects that you (or another Copy Editor) might have missed during the Copy Editing stage.
